Spiritual Connections, this year's Mobile Museum theme, encourages students to examine the role that spirituality plays in many cultures, challenging the notion that there's a singular or correct way to view spirituality by offering students the opportunity to explore the diverse ways that people from around the world practice their beliefs. Utilizing a collection of global arts and artifacts, the exhibit will: highlight religions through icons, ritual objects, holy books and ritual clothing, and feature masks and musical instruments with spiritual or cultural significance from select ancient and major modern religions.
