About Us

Portola Middle School, Highly Gifted Magnet, and Academy of Integrated Arts & Technology are a partnership
of teachers, staff, administrators, parents, students and the community dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing
and supportive learning environment.

Our Mission

Gaspar de Portola Charter Middle School, Academy of Integrated Arts & Technology (AIAT), and Highly Gifted Magnet (HGM) will provide all students (including students from underrepresented minorities and those with disabilities) a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum to foster maximum academic achievement and positive character development in a safe learning environment.  Our structuring addresses both the content and delivery of the curriculum in a coordinated school-wide process to implement state and district standards.
