All About Portola

We are proud of all of our students at Portola Charter Middle School and are thrilled to feature exciting student work samples during the COVID-19 Closure Continuity of Learning.

 

Some of our students performed a poem called Lockdown, about the COVID 19 Pandemic by Brother Richard Hendrick, a Capuchin Franciscan Priest Friar in Ireland.  After seeing the video, the author sent this message:

 

"...I have just now watched the beautiful rendition of my poem by your students. It was wonderful and brought me great happiness. I hope that you will please convey my congratulations to them and tell them how proud they should be!"..."I send them every blessing and good wish for them and for their families! In peace, BR"
