JOHNS HOPKINS The Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth (CTY) invites our brightest students to access their Global Talent Serach. Students who score "Advanced" on the CST or identified gifted are eligible to enroll. CTY Talent Searches identify, assess, and recognize students with exceptional mathematical and/or verbal reasoning abilities. California State University’s Early Entrance Program (EEP) is conducting its 31st Annual Search for Exceptional Academic Achievement (SEAA). The SEAA is for students between the ages of 11 and 15 who have been identified as gifted. This assessment provides experience in taking SAT-type tests and potential qualification for special opportunities such as the Cal State LA Early Entrance Program or Honors Academy summer workshops. If you would like to prepare for the upcoming year, go to the California State Standards (see LInks) and work on concepts that need improvement. You can also view the upcoming year's standards. Before our Librarian, Mrs. Besser, retired, she suggested some summer reading books.
